Agata
General assistant
Agata is originally from Poland and has returned to Kylesku after her first visit in 2018. She speaks English and Polish. Keen to help us improve our green credentials.
Feels like family.
A few walks I might share in secret. A lot to explore within a short distance, with stunning views.
Exploring coastal, forest, mountain hikes, exploring dead end roads for hidden places, hiking and staying overnight in bothies.
Take part in any activities, organised trips, evenings together, as that will make you feel part of the place very quickly.

Cassandra
General assistant
Cassandra first came to work at Kylesku in 2016 as a student placement, returning in 2019. Originally from France, she has worked in hospitality in France and Scotland, and with a cruise agency in Australia.
Revitalising, relaxing, peaceful.
I would say Handa Island for the nice walks we can do there and observe lovely puffins. On the top of that landscape’s really worth the trip.
Photography. I love capturing moments, landscapes and faces.
Just enjoy the great atmosphere and authentic landscapes.

What I call the fairy forest just at the back of the hotel – something magically mysterious walking through the moss covered trees
Simply Getting out to explore – there is so much to see and experience and absorb – every day is different
Don’t be scared of the cold. And have a sticky toffee pudding at least once a week.

Dita
General assistant
If Dita were a character from literature, she’d be Roald Dahl’s Miss Honey. Ever a ray of sunshine; she has a flourishing herb garden, a twinkly sense of humour, and a wonderful collection of homemade Czech biscuit recipes.
Kylesku Bridge walk: only a few minutes from our hotel, there is a beautiful walk leading under the bridge. Great place for a picnic or watching deer.
Going on a boat with friends – fish, swimming, exploring wild beaches.
Fish of the day – currently whole mackerel – the best mackerel I ever had!
Remember to look up to the sky. You will see thousands of stars being so close, you can almost touch them, breathtaking milkyway the lucky ones will maybe see the Northern Lights.

Eva
