Clashnessie Beach

Small but beautiful with pink sands and mild microclimate. Right on the Drumbeg road. Clashnessie Waterfall nearby.

Balnakeil Bay captured by photographer François Bertin.

The Zipwire at Ceannebeinne Beach, near Durness

Ceannebeinne Beach

Unbelievable white sand and turquoise water – perfect for swimming! Also has a zip wire for the more adventurous. Three miles east of Durness.

Turquoise water like you find in the Maldives . . . by far the most beautiful place on earth.
