As a recently modernised 19th century hotel, we offer a quirky mix of room sizes, including a lovely new wheelchair-accessible extension, Willie’s Hoose.

Hotel guests at Kylesku can relax in the peaceful private lounge looking out onto Loch Glendhu. You’ll also find WiFi, books and a telescope for wildlife watching – perfect for rainy days! Well-behaved dogs are welcomed as family and can accompany you throughout the hotel.

Not staying with us? You’re still welcome to join us for breakfast. Choose from our continental-style buffet or cooked breakfast menu. Breakfast is served from 8-10am every day.

if you're heading outdoors

Kylesku Hotel has a laundry service and drying facilities for residents. Useful for guests engaging in outdoor pursuits.

We love giving tips on the local area. Just ask, and we can look at maps with you.

  • Newton Lodge | 01971502070 | Owners Lisa, Ed & their daughter Blythe will welcome you at the Lodge. Great views from the conservatory over Loch Glencoul.
  • Kylesku B&B | 01971 502 400 | David & Sarah run a lovely B&B, situated about 300 yards from Kylesku Hotel. Both rooms are en-suite. Not open in 2020.
  • Maryck | 01971 502 009 | Mary Miles runs this B&B about 1.5 miles away from us. She has a website, but no email. It’s very clean and she does a fab breakfast. Great views.
  • Kylesku Lodges | 01971502223 | 10 minutes’ walk from us. Although these are self-catering lodges, Cath & Mike will offer short stays of three nights.

Our season

Kylesku Hotel, Restaurant & Bar is open between February and November - we take a winter break in December and January. In 2019 the hotel closed from 10.30am on November 25th. We reopened on 7th February 2020. Our 2020 season ended on 30th November at 10.30 am. We hope to reopen at midday on 26th April 2021, but please check back for updates closer to the time.

The Hotel, Restaurant and Bar are closed for our winter break from 30th November 2020 at 10.30am.

We are re-opening at midday on Monday 26th April 2021. This date will be reviewed in line with national and local governmental Covid-19 restrictions and so may be subject to change.

We are acutely aware there probably will be travel restrictions for our guests coming from elsewhere in the UK until May time. We are waiting for the Scottish governmental review on 6th April for further details.
